He is not a beefcake star, but a surprising number of his film appearances involve nudity.

Nude Photos of Willie Aames

Teen idol Willie Aames had an amazing physique, back in the day, and a rather impressive bulge.

Other than Charles in Charge (1984-90), he is best known for Paradise (1982), a knockoff of Blue Lagoon, with none of the scintillating dialogue or intriguing plot (ok, I'm joking.  Blue Lagoon didn't have those things, either.)

But you did get to see Willie's willie.

Nude Photos of TV Doctor Vince Edwards

Baby Boomer kids are familiar with Vince Edwards from Ben Casey (1961-1966), and their parents, with his many beefcake roles of the 1950s, such as Mr. Universe (1951) and Hiawatha (1952).

There's no evidence that he posed for gay physique magazines like Physique Pictorial, but there are nude photos of a young Vince Edwards floating around the internet.





He's around 20 here, so it's about 1948, when Vince was studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts   A classical Greek pose like you would see in physique magazines,  but there was no full nudity in print at the time.  This must have been a private photo shoot.














Older here, and bulked up, probably early 1950s, after he moved to Los Angeles.

Was he a member or hanger-on of the Hollywood gay scene?

Nude Photos of John Davidson

John Davidson (not the actor) was "everyone's favorite model," even though he only worked for about six months.

"Butchie" (nobody called him John) was born in Bronxville, New York in December 1945, and grew up near Baltimore, Maryland.  After graduating from high school in 1964, he moved to New York and puttered around, making money by hustling and modeling. His first professional photos were taken by Walter Kundcziz's  Champion Studios.

In March 1965, Butchie joined the Marines and was sent to L.A. for a 12-week boot camp.  He found time to model, too, posing for Pat Milo, Spartan Studios, and Bob Mizer of the Athletic Model Guild.

He got a USMC tattoo, and he also may or may not have befriended Tony Dow, the 20-year old actor who previously played Wally on Leave it to Beaver.

Mizer said that Butchie was "one of the liveliest, most energetic models we have ever had," and  filmed him eight times, giving him starring roles in The Improvident Immigrant (with his Marine buddy Al Emonds, who he brought along for the day), Vicious Guard (where he did a jail-house card game scene with Pat White), Gladiator and the Slave, and The Sassy Seaman and the Officer.

He also put Butchie on the cover of the June 1965 issue of Physique Pictorial.

The secret symbols Mizer used reveal that Butchie was Greek passive (an anal bottom), French active (into oral), "a ball" (fun to work with), and "an experienced hustler."

In June 1965, Butchie shipped out to Vietnam, but he never made it.  While on shore leave on the island of Okinawa, he contracted  Japanese encephalitis from a mosquito bite.  He died on July 4th, 1965, only 19 years old.

But he managed to cram a lot of great experiences into those 19 years.

Nude Photos of Robby Benson

I have always hated movies full of angst, gravitas, and people dying.  But in the early 1980s, when I was in college, I watched them: The End (1978), Ice Castles (1978), Die Laughing (1980), The Chosen (1981), Running Brave (1983), Harry and Son (1984) -- just for a glimpse of Robby Benson.

There was never a more beautiful teen idol.  Never.  A face that would make you melt.  If you ever managed to look away from that face, there was a warm chest, six-pack abs.

Robby was trying to be a serious actor, but he faced a major hurdle: audiences never paid attention to the plot, characters, or dialogue of his angst-ridden movies.  They were too busy waiting for him to take his shirt off.



This was before actors would strut across the stage nude regularly, so we get only three glimpses of Robby naked.

1. The underwear scene in Ice Castles shows a very clear penis outline.

2. Running Brave has a scene with Robby walking through the locker room to the showers.  Butt shot.















3. This is apparently an outtake -- it doesn't appear in the film.  But Robby's pubic hair, penis shaft, and head are in full view.

It's not much, but really, with a face like that, the penis seems irrelevant. I'm busy writing "Robby + Boomer"  in purple ink in the margin of my chemistry notebook.

Nude Photo of Jack Dempsey

Jack Dempsey (1895-1983) was the most famous boxer in the world during the 1920s, world heavyweight champion from 1919 to 1926.  His fight against French boxer Georges Carpentier on July 2, 1921, dubbed "The Fight of the Century," was the first sporting event to receive live radio coverage.

He retired from boxing in 1927 and capitalized on his fame to lend his name to a series of business enterprises, including casinos and restaurants.

He was married four times and had three children, but, according to rumor, was a hit at the "homo parties" in Hollywood in the 1920s.

And there's a nude photo.

The face looks like him.  The body is a little more defined, but he is younger, in his late teens or early 20s.

It may be from the German movie Weg zu Kraft und Schonheit (1925), which used nude models, including Johnny Weissmuller and Jack Dempsey, to illustrate Roman sports, gymnastics, and dance.  It's available on youtube, but I don't find Dempsey there.

Here's a bulge shot.  Compare, and see if the penises could be the same.

Bobby Darin Taking a Shower

This is the uncensored version of the photo of teen idol and 1960s singer Bobby Darin, perhaps an illustration from his "Splish, Splash (I Was Taking a Bath)" (1958).

It looks legitimate, like the real photo taken before censoring.

But when modern singers cover the song, they're usually shown in the bathtub, not in the shower, as in this rendition from a "Blast from the Past" performance at an Alabama high school.

The effect is the same.

If you're over 30, you may not realize that youtube is not just a place for uploading funny videos of your cat.  Youtubers get their own channels, draw paid subscribers, and become famous. There are a lot of singers and comedians, gamers, chefs, spokespersons for religious and political viewpoints.

Kurt Russell (1951-) is a child star turned fresh-scrubbed Disney Adventure Boy, the subject of my first crush.  In adulthood he played cops, fast-talking con artists, taciturn man-mountain heroes, and finally grizzled old guys.  

We got a nice view of his muscular backside in the buddy-cop movie Tango and Cash (1989).  He's on the left, next to Sylvester Stallone.

But for a frontal, we had to wait until 2007, when the beefy 56-year old was photographed nude in Malibu.

Kurt's man-boobs and belly disturbed many long-term fans who expected him to look the same as he did in 1989.  Or even in 1968, when he starred in The Secret of Boyne Castle.

He doesn't have the same face or physique that he had at age 39.  Or at age 17.  None of us do.  But no matter how much your body changes over time, your penis stays the same.
